Keke Palmer & Booboo Stewart Have A Place Called Home
Mar 20, 2010 / Saturday, March 20, 2010
Keke Palmer and BooBoo Stewart snap a pic together as they attend A Place Called Home’s 4th Annual Celebrity Bowling and Poker Tournament held at PINZ Bowling and Entertainment Center in Studio City, Calif., on Wednesday night (March 10).
A Place Called Home is a non-profit organization that provides a safe, home-like environment for thousands of at-risk youth. They held its fourth annual Stars & Strikes Celebrity Bowling and Poker Tournament fundraiser to celebrate the organization’s achievements, as well as raise funds for its programs.
The event gave attendees the opportunity to bowl with celebrities, play in a professional-level poker tournament featuring the Dealer Dolls and World Series Poker Championship dealer Jolyn Haviland; bid on concert tickets, artwork and more via a silent auction; enter live drawings; dance to music courtesy of KIIS-FM; enjoy healthy food provided by Whole Foods Market, and more. All proceeds went directly to APCH to fund its programs and help the center continue to serve at-risk, inner-city youth to keep them and the Los Angeles community safe.
